Decentralised climate adaptation funds
Decentralising Climate Funds (DCF) supports communities in Mali and Senegal to become more resilient to climate change through locally-controlled adaptation funds.
The project relies on existing local governance systems to disburse money. 90% of each fund is allocated to investments prioritised by communities and local authorities.
This poster offers an infographic setting out the pattern of money flows, decisions and oversight and technical flows in the DCF model. The poster also sets out seven selection criteria for investments.
