Theory of change for increasing the influence of Least Developed Countries' climate diplomacy
As climate diplomacy becomes an increasing necessity, more countries are working to integrate climate change into their foreign policy. They do this both to further international cooperation to combat and address the issue and to protect domestic interests in climate change decisions that have wide implications on economic development, national security and other matters.
This diagram, produced by the International Institute for Environment and Development, presents a theory of change that depicts how the world’s poorest countries can increase the influence of their climate diplomacy.
