Aimee Semple McPherson
Aimee Semple McPherson (1890-1944), often known as “Sister Aimee,” was a gifted and flamboyant preacher. She is remembered as a missionary, evangelist, editor, author and founder of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. She was the founding pastor of Angelus Temple, opened Christian radio station KFSG in Los Angeles, started L.I.F.E. Bible College, and spearheaded a number of evangelistic outreaches during her ministry.
