Meaningful Access to Information To Leave No One Behind: Launch of the 2017 DA2I Report
The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), in partnership with the Technology and Social Change Group at the University of Washington (TASCHA), launched the first Development and Access to Information (DA2I) Report at The New York Public Library, during the United Nations High Level Political Forum on 17 July 2017.

The DA2I Report shows how essential access to information is for development, and makes the case for coordinated and sustained efforts by all to guarantee it. It demonstrates how meaningful access to information, supported by libraries, contributes to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and monitors the progress countries are making towards fulfilling their commitments under the UN 2030 Agenda.
