Oak Type cabinet composing top
This is a lovely vintage oak type cabinet. It has some of the oak type cases missing so it is not complete. The cases contain some common fonts in 10 to 12 pt sizes mostly. The top is loose for transport ease and also has some rather handy holes in the side. You can see two in the picture and there is another one of the far side with an engraved with the word 'ELECTRICAL' engraved on it. They were to make routing of work light wires easier.
I was told that it came from the old print shop at the period style Pilgrims Rest tourist village that was closed down. It came with the vintage table top platen press that is illustrated elsewhere on this profile from the same source and same provenance. The photo does not do it justice.
