Naked Ladies at Point Pinos
Point Pinos Lighthouse is the oldest continually operating lighthouse on the West Coast and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The building, lenses and prisms in this Pacific Grove lighthouse are all original, and it is still an active aid to navigation.
Fun Fact: All the lighthouses have a different light patterns. This was the way of navigation before GPS. Intervals of bright light are arranged to create a pattern specific to the particular lighthouse. So you could travel up and down the California Coast and know where you were.
