Chicago Wall Art

Newer Older

Some of you may remember one of the panoramas that I took in Chicago in 2009. I had it printed on canvas (at a size of 27"x65") and hung it on our living room wall a couple of weeks ago.

People keep telling me I should sell copies of it but printing it at that size is pretty expensive so I'm not sure I want to take the upfront risk. Have any of you sold any prints of your photos? Do you have any advice?

HDR from three two stop incremental exposures.

Your print looks great and it really fits the style of the nicely decorated room. I'm sure it was worth the price since it looks so good. I have had normal prints made, but never on canvas; I'll have to give it a try.

Beautiful Panorama Jonathan. You can always give it a try. See if it works for you. If it does, then that is another way of you earning income. If it doesn't, at least you did give it a try. I don't think you lose anything by trying.

Incredible! yes you should be selling it. And yes I sell work. use Fine art America, Redbubble or Imagekind.

Order it on demand. Tell the buyer to wait one week for it. It is normal for big prints to take a little longer.

It looks great. I use Redbubble but there is a limited set of products and there may not be one to suit your image. Worth checking out. Printing can be good although they get it wrong as often as they get it right, in my recent experience. They are pretty good about reprinting though.

Agreed, sell it, THEN print it. No risk! It's gorgeous, would look great in a corporate environment too.
