Today, scientists from IBM Research and Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland unveiled a technological achievement in signal conversion technology that can improve Internet speeds to 100 Gigabits per second (Gb/s), doubling current technology on the market today.
