Camping Wadi Style. By Ian Layzell

Wadi Rum.

Wadi Rum is a 31 mile (50 km) Valley. For centuries Wadi has been home for Howeitat Bedouins where they live alongside their camels and goats.

Today, many Bedouins work as Guides in the Wadi Valley and Nature Reserve.

Pictured above is a scene on the Wadi Rum just as the sun started to set. After exploring the desert by 4WD Vehicle I took a short walk from camp to take in Wadi's amazing landscape.

Must have only walked for 20 or so minutes but it felt like much much more. Walking on desert sand is really hard work!!
