Odeon of Herod Atticus-Athens

The restored interior of the Odeon of Herod Atticus, Athens. The structure was originally built in 161 CE by Herodes Atticus in honour of his wife. The front structure (scenae frons) was originally three stories tall and the whole structure was covered by a wooden roof. The Odeon was used primarily for musical performances.
