Eduardo Luigi Paolozzi: Newton

    Newer Older

Eduardo Luigi Paolozzi (1924–2005): Newton. A sculptural transcription of William Blake's depiction of Isaac Newton (1795), sculpted in 1995 (apparently as a bicentennial celebration), erected in 1998 at the piazza of British Library. - In despite of his name, Paolozzi was a very influential Scottish sculptor and artist of the 20th century.

Excellently taken. I thought about shooting him but couldn't work out how to take it to do it justice. You've succeeded beautifully.
Thanks for your visit. I've not finished with either Budapest or Hungary yet.
