The bird feeding table is such big fun!! The beech in the background is turning more beautiful every day and it is really hard to not try my luck with the birds at least once every day. I also keep changing the branches every day. Yesterday I passed a house with a gigantic Maple in its garden. I stopped and knocked on the door to ask if I could cut off one tiny little branch. But there was nobody home. Ok, so I drove on. Just around the corner there was another house with a beautiful red maple in the garden. Knocked on the door again but again nobody home. And then I kind of figured that I had done my best to ask permission and while walking back to my car, oops!, accidently broke off a tiny little branch.... Clumsy me.. :-)
Well, the birds seem to like their new perch and so do I!
On my blog I'll explain how this shot was done: The making of Autumn Glow
In 6 days from now I'll exchange cold and rainy Holland for 5 weeks of sunny South Africa! Don't know if I'll be able to post a new picture before I leave (although I'm going on a shoot with Dennis day after tomorrow) and I also don't know if I'll be able to upload in Africa. If not; hasta la vista; I'll be back in 6 weeks!!
