Taking a break from leading gastronomic cycling holidays in Burgundy, I got back into the vines for a second year for the annual grape harvest. Picking and hauling the fruits that become the best wine on the planet is hard but rewarding work. While 2011 was blessed with sunshine, 2012 was not! Cold and wet, heavy rain, thick mud and chilling temperatures made for a hard few days. Here are a selection of images from working the 2012 harvest with Drouhin Laroze.
