2011 LearningElite Gala
Chief Learning Officer magazine recognized 43 corporate, government and academic organizations for their work in employee learning and development at a gala dinner held at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, in Amelia Island, Fla. on Sunday, March 27, 2011. Each organization was named to the magazine's 2011 CLO LearningElite, and six were singled out as recipients of the Editor's Choice awards.

Developed under the guidance of chief learning officers and senior workforce development practitioners, the CLO LearningElite is the only peer-based benchmarking initiative in the industry. This pioneering program utilizes best practices in evaluation to objectively assess both the scope and the value of the learning and development services that companies provide. It recognizes excellence in five key L&D performance indicators: learning strategy, learning execution, learning impact (internal), business performance results (external) and leadership commitment.
