Trials are like fire. How?

Remember that the fire that melts the butter, is the same fire that hardened steel.

Do you melt or hardened by trials?

If we endure opposition and persecution with the right attitude, it can build endurance in us. This will help us to weather future sufferings. We read: “Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you meet with various trials, knowing as you do that this tested quality of your faith works out endurance.” (James 1:2, 3) Similarly, Romans 5:3-5 informs us: “Let us exult while in tribulations, since we know that tribulation produces endurance; endurance, in turn, an approved condition; the approved condition, in turn, hope, and the hope does not lead to disappointment.” So the more we now endure trials because of our Christian course, the better equipped we will be to endure further trials in this wicked system of things.

Hello! Very true comment. In addition, our children do pass through the fire, we are told in 1 Corinthians 3:12-15. It depends on the kind of material that have been built, which can withstand the fire of testing.

Kuya Raycoy, thanks for this very faith strengthening comment! I remember our Public talk speaker last Sunday..He mentioned about How to cope during fiery Trials..In his talk he stressed the point that we have to strengthen our faith as early as now if we want to survive in the great Tribulation..

And then, He asked us that if we are going to compare our faith in this 3 Materials..then..what kind of Faith Do we have now?

A Faith like a Paper..which is so easy to Burn..

A Faith like a wood..which is quiet hard to burn at first..but in the long run.. wood will be little by little burning like what we can see here in the picture..

A Faith like a stone..that is really un breakable and will never melt under extreme heat temperature:)

In the same manner, do we have faith like a paper ..where in.. It so easy for us to give up when under trials?

or do we have faith like a wood,.that at first..we endure tribulations..and then if our problem is getting worst ..then we start not to attend christian meetings and we dont even have a time to join in the field service...

Yes, we have to develop as Strong faith like a stone that is unbreakable and never give up during difficult circumstances!
