Travel Decal

    Newer Older

Back in the eighties, I bought a large group of these travel decals at a yard sale in Pennsylvania for 25 cents. There were probably near 100 of them. A few years ago I sold most of them on eBay, and just kept a few because they had edges stuck to the envelopes.

mikepetrucci, COUGARCAS, cbplourde, and 3 other people added this photo to their favorites.

Cool! I wonder when these date from...some of the cities that rate large print names, like Goldsboro, are relatively small today, whereas others that achieved only small print here, like Greensboro, have become quite big (3rd largest city in the state).

Also the illustration seems to have appropriated a good amount of ocean and attached it to the state in the upper right corner. :)
