Potter's Marsh, Alaska

Usually when the word marsh is used, we expect a swamp with mosquitoes buzzing over it. However, even the marshes in Alaska were beautiful. Potter's Marsh is 10 miles south of Anchorage on the Seward highway. It is a famous spot for bird watching. We did see a few birds, however it was not early in the morning so the number of birds was small. This was the first spot we stopped at on the Seward highway. The clouds were just wonderful like most other days on the trip for photography. I am already making plans to go back to Alaska on a completely different itinerary next time. All i need is some luck with the jackpot :-)
