Biggest Full Moon Supermoon of 2019

In 2018, the month of February had no full moon. But this year's February presented the biggest Full Moon Supermoon of 2019.

The Snow Moon is the Full Moon in February, named after the snow on the ground. Some North American tribes named it the Hunger Moon due to the scarce food sources and hard hunting conditions during mid-winter, while others named it the Storm Moon.

We observed the Full Moon coming through the clouds as it finally presented itself in all its glory!!

The brilliant golden glow dissipated as the Moon continued to rise in the dark sky.
