Landscape Photography And Post Processing - Me.
This a random shot taken for a university project. This project was about recontextualisation where i was expected to create/produce meaningful and effective photographic imagery that relates to my area of interest. I was asked to produce one duo-toned image. Well i done a range of different duo-toned images but the shot above i did not pick as my main selection choice. The subject could be defined by me, a duo-toned image is where a photograph is mainly toned towards one colour or sometimes two colours and this can be done on Adobe Photoshop using gray/grey scale or hue/saturation.
Landscape photography is not particularly a strength of mine and i would not say I'm a natural. I could really do with a wide angle lens for my Canon camera very soon. This shot was taken in Birmingham close to the main town city centre. I was with my friend 'Karlis Blums' having a day of photography for the recontextualisation project. I have toned this image/photograph to make it feel quite cold. I feel i captured the water fountain well. It was a very bitter cold winter day and i felt my hands getting really cold that i was really close to losing grip of my camera.
