Third attempt at post-processing September's data. Reduced the starfield around the galaxy, and enhanced contrast in the spiral arms.
This is a composite of fifteen 5-minute subexposures:
6 luminance exposures, 300s bin1
3 red exposures, 300s bin2
3 green exposures, 300s bin2
3 blue exposures, 300s bin2
Captured on two separate nights, September 4 and 8, 2016, using Telescope 14 from iTelescope:
CCD: SBIG STL-11000M
OTA: 106mm Takahashi FSQ Fluorite
Mount: Paramount GT-1100S equatorial mount
Location: Mayhill, New Mexico.
Stacked and stretched with Nebulosity, then adjusted using Photoshop, both on a Mac.
