Livin' on the edge
Theo -- the word triggers a few fast shutters in my heart and it does make me more eager to get back to the place again (And again & again....). If each photo is a substitute for 1000 words, then theo needs 10000 photos (And more) to be completely represented in its entirety.
Such is the beauty of the Theo that words fail me and my photos don't do justice to this wonderful paradise in Chennai. I have a mental list of pictures that I dream of taking in my lifetime and I am happy to 'Check this off' of that list. A red bug at the end of a long green leaf with a perfect green background is something that had always been in my mind and the opportunity presented itself this time. The Raynox DCR-250 macro attachment that I have with me is a bit tough to handle and it does need some patience to get the focus right. The tripod had to be set, the tripod had to be slowly inched forward so that the bug comes in focus, the focus had to be done manually but when all this is done, the Raynox does produce some excellent images. I was able to get just this one shot of the bug at the end of the leaf before it decided to take off! Luckily for me, the focus was spot-on and made me a happy guy :-)
