Sewing for Petite Blythe: Pretty in Paris dress

I'm trying out a new Petite Blythe clothing pattern from Doll Coordinate Recipe #4. This is what I finished yesterday, a quick little dress in violet, pastel peppermint and creme, with an iron-on of the Eiffel Tower to make it a bit more interesting. ^_^ It had to fit on the dress, so I've printed it out in a very tiny size!

I've lined the bodice to make the dress sturdier. The extra fabric does add to the bulk but since this is an easy enough pattern suitable for beginners, I'm going to keep practicing on it. ^^ So many color combinations to try out!

My new wonderful Petites are coming later this month and I can't wait to make Petite group pictures for the first time! Kitchen Queen here, after years of waiting, will finally have some friends, awww. She's more excited than I am, running around like a headless chicken on those cute little feet! "I need to tidy everything up before they get here!"
