Here is Happy by a little stream in the park. Again, I love her white dress and white boots.
One time a family with 4 girls around 6 or 7 years of age was walking right behind us at the flower park. Mom and dad sat down on a bench and rested a bit and I was just focusing on photographing Blythe by the stream when I heard excited shrieks of the girls behind me. I turned around because it sounded like they were coming toward me but they were already running back to their parents by the time I even took notice of them. Confused, I just shrugged my shoulders and went back to taking pictures of Happy.
When we got back home mom told me she saw what happened. The girls saw there's a doll sitting in the grass and came closer to take a look. ^_^ When they were right behind me (I was nearly crouching then and snapping pics) their mom called them to come back because they strayed too far ahead.
This makes sense because I remember when we were leaving the park, the same family was behind us again and there was a moment one of the girls sneaked closer to me and peeked into the two-handled (straw) bag I was carrying. Inside were my Blythe, two Liccas and the camera. ^^ I remember clearly her looking inside and grinning up at me when I spotted her (kids, they're so small, I never notice them LOL). And then she ran away again. Mom said she must have seen me earlier put Blythe back into the bag and then she came to me to take a look. She was a bit shy and didn't say anything and I just looked at her confused because I didn't recognize her. I also thought for a second she'll reach into the bag! Maybe I should have asked her if she likes the doll but we were already back at the entrance at that point and heading toward the parking lot... :)
Still, a cute moment because I'm not used to taking my dolls outside where there are lots of other people around and someone noticing Blythe and coming closer to take a look is pretty cool.
