      AKA "stinky pear". Nice. They look like polished leather. These are so interesting, how some just turn brown while others make beautiful stained glass colors. I guess it'll be time for those soon...

      It just happens with this particular type of leaf. You're right; they do look like beautiful leather works. This is after their colorful stained-glass stage.

      These are leaves from a Bradford pear (Pyrus calleryana) which grows over most of the US...and thank you!
