The Alfred Dreyfus Collection, MS 422, consists of illustrated material documenting the French public’s reaction to the Dreyfus Affair during the 1890s. The material was acquired in 2002 from the collection of Jean Marie Goulemot, a collector of French intellectual history and a member of the Institut Universitaire de France. The collection includes original illustrations of the key players in the Dreyfus debate, including sketches of Emile Zola, as well numerous posters from the infamous Musee des Horreurs series.
