Solar Impulse in Hawaii
An idea born in Switzerland. Andre Borschberg landed at 5:55 am on July 3, 2015 at Kalaeloa Airport proving Bertrand Piccard's vision of a Zero-Fuel airplane with unlimited endurance. The University of Hawaii System and Honolulu Community College is host partner to SI2 during her stay in Hawaii. STEM, Aviation, Aeronautics, and Engineering students and faculty got to meet Borschberg and view the plane on a special UH Day with Solar Impulse on July 6. #futureisclean PC: Billie Lueder and Jason Oshiro
