Not your typical French Macarons, I'm afraid. I would say these to be more like Meringue kisses, with the addition of corn flakes and chocolate chips. They're crunchy and at the same time melt in your mouth! My sis made them yesterday and I thought it was really easy to make and do not require much ingredients. So I made them this morning.

230ml Egg Whites
400g Icing Sugar (The recipe actually calls for 500g of icing sugar but way too sweet for me! You can reduce it to 400g - 350g, entirely up to you!)
1//4 tsp Cream of Tartar
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
100g Cornflakes (Crushed)
150g (or more) Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
Whisk egg whites for a few seconds.
Add in icing sugar a little at a time.
Followed by cream of tartar and vanilla essence.
Whisk again until mixture forms a Stiff peak.
Use a spatula to fold in cornflakes and chocolate chips.
Spoon mixture into mini paper cups and bake at 170 degree celcius for 30 mins.
They're great just out of the oven, for aftertoon tea treats! if not store in airtight containers.
