Grey Box-Pleated Wedding Cake with Yellow Sugar Blooms
Handmade fondant box pleats peeking out from a textured fondant ribbon accented with edible buttons. Buttons were created using a silicone mold from Global Sugar Art (USA).
Handmade custard-yellow sugar blooms, with foliage made using a peony leaf cutter. I used a magnolia petal cutter and an amaryllis petal veiner to create the flower petals.
5-1/2"--9"--12" square tiers, all 5" tall, paneled with ivory fondant.
