from the thumbnail, i thought it was asparagus...and i was quite excited, because i have been consuming far more than my share of asparagus lately and wanted to share that joy....

the light is wonderful! i love vegetables when they are prepared simply - it lets the true brilliance of the veg come through.

I love green beans fixed this way. Sometimes we sprinkle them with sesame seeds.

this is beautiful. reminds me of my holiday in the south of france last year. the farmers' markets there were quite something else. and i just love haricots verts.

though the sun wasn't out, the moodiness and shine on this is great. nice crop on this horizontal image.
