Townhouse, 2006

Ballard had a lot of infill townhouse projects in the late 00s. Although there is a postage stamp yard and a hint of parking strip, it's still a car-oriented design, with the wide driveway and garages in the rear. And the paving for the car still leaves a lot of impermeable surface. This project was built in 2006. Other redevelopments that replaced apartments with front driveways kept them, so my guess is that this replaced old single family homes, like those at the other end of the block.
