    Hi! Just left Portland, parade was lonely. Crater Lake for lunch today - Getting along fairly well. Hope to stick it out. Tomorrow is Sewing Club. Will miss meeting with you all. Hope you are all having a great time.

      Poor Melvina, she didn't have a good time at the Rose Festival parade. "getting along fairly well, hope to stick it out", Wow!

      Yeah, Melvina was apparently really bored in Portland! Oh, woe is Melvina for having to endure beautiful Portland during the Rose Parade and the (mostly) beautiful drive between Portland and Boise.

      This is AWESOME. My Great-Aunt Wilma had a round bed in her guest room. It had a much fancier headboard, though...gilded and upholstered with velveteen and very rococo. As a kid, it was the coolest thing to sleep in that bed. It was ROUND!

      I hope Melvina had a better time at the Sewing Club. I'm sure she did, though, because how could you miss with that??
