Spokane International Airport - Spokane, Washington
The main entrance and Ticketing Building is seen here. Just beyond and forming the center or main room of the airport complex is the rotunda which houses a cocktail lounge, conference rooms, restaurant, coffee shop and waiting areas. Unusual architectural characteristics of of this main room include a roof supported by 24 concrete beams each weighing 29 tons. The Rotunda is a half-city block wide and from the floor to the skylight is as high as a five story building.
