Two Bunch Palms
According to local lore, Prohibition-era gangster Al Capone built several bungalows at Two Bunch Palms for his West Coast hideout. His personal bungalow, number 14 (above) is believed to have underground escape tunnels and a sentry tower for armed bodyguards. The only problem with the legend: there’s no actual evidence that Al Capone was ever there. But hey, why let the truth get in the way of a good story?
