Actually I am too young to be nostalgic about vinyls. The best thing my first stereo had, was the double cassette deck and a cd player. So I could record music from cd to cassette. Don't ask why someone would do that, but back in the 90s it was a fascinating technology. Today I am socialised with mp3 and streaming. The record player in the photo is my parents. And it fascinates me that it plays any music at all. I know - or at least i have an idea - how mp3 works, but how is it possible that a needle and some rutted vinyl conservates sound as well? It's a fascinating technology.
