Imaginary creature No.25. Rainbow elephants.
Once there was a man who endeavoured to find a buried treasure. Searching for treasures, he spent numerous years interpreting outline maps and real estate sale advertisements. He also became very anxious every time he saw a rainbow – he knew that there is gold buried at the end of the rainbow.
So once he saw a rainbow that stayed in the sky for several days without disappearing neither during the day nor the night. He understood that it was the sign, took his spade and departed towards the bright stripe. He found the rainbow end quite fast – it came into the world in a very beautiful place, though quite busy with people. The man rejoiced immensely and started digging. He had to dig for an awfully long time, he even decided to have a break and rest.
After waking up, he continued digging. What was his surprise at finding at the bottom of the pit – not the desired treasure, but seven strange animals with trunks – one for each rainbow colour. The treasure hunter fancied the creatures, so since then they have been telling him fantastic stories in the evening, and he has been teaching them to colour outline maps.
The length is approximately 30 cm, an odorous heart with cinnamon, vanilla, cardamom, ginger, clove and other delicacies beats inside each elephant.
