Groundbreaking! 11.19.09
On Nov. 19, 2009, the Houston Museum of Natural Science broke ground on a new wing of the museum - the Duncan Family Wing. Members of the Board, staff and major donors were on hand to celebrate the $63 million that has been raised towards our goal of creating the world's finest hall of paleontology - among many other exhibits and educational resources that are planned for the museum's upcoming expansion - and the beginning of a new chapter in HMNS history.

We still have more than $20 million left to raise before the Museum's expansion becomes a reality. Help us prepare the next generation of scientists for the challenges of the 21st century - donate to the Museum's capital campaign today and help us secure the future of science education in Houston - or join our Cause on Facebook and help us spread the word.
