      These are nice models, and the tips are better than on the farm pages. But it would annoy the heck out of me if I were an amateur LEGO builder trying to figure out what a "tube stud" is. Those particular parts appear in modern-day sets very rarely, and the picture and name make it seem like they're a tiny piece connecting the body segments rather than the main SNOT element around which the body segments are made.

      I appreciate that this book doesn't use super-technical AFOL names for things or the extremely ambiguous TLG names for certain parts, but at the same time the end result is that things are simplified to the point of being incomprehensible.
