Hung Hom. Hong Kong
More than 26,000 candidates in the first Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination have met the minimum entrance requirements for local universities. They're among 73,000 sixth formers who have taken the exam under the new education structure.
The number meeting minimum entrance requirements is higher than it was last year - under the old A-level system. They'll compete for 15,000 government-funded university places.
