Interlocking Concertina Towers

Paper: Some dark-red metallic band bio (8.5" x 11")

When compressed, the profile looks like an exaggerated 'S'. As it expands, the curves contract, eventually making a full circle. They interlock well.

This particular paper was colored the same on both sides; if I use something colored on one side only, each tower will be a different color.

Ah yes... I thought I'd seen something similar browsing the group. Your folding technique looks closer to mine than brdparker's.

Did you put in all of the creases and then fold it into shape rather than pleating and then pulling the pleats out to make the curve?
  • HisCheapMoves 8y

I put in all the creases first, then folded into shape.

Wow... scroll up and down over the photo really quickly... or maybe you shouldn't. I have a headache now :)

    Sorry, off-topic. Nice fold!
