Lest We Forget DG414

On 5th July 1944 Halifax bomber DG414 crashed on this hillside. It was from RAF Sandtoft 1667 Heavy Conversion Unit where crews learned to fly bombers, sadly there's crash sites in many of the villages around here from Sandtoft; there are 4 other crash sites within a mile of this one.
