Boordy Vineyards 2007 Merlot
I haven't drank this wine yet, but I wanted to post another picture and play around with some software. I'll update this once I pop the cork and have a taste.
This is another Maryland wine. It came from the case we bought when we were at Boordy a few weeks ago. I was going to drink it tonight but then lost my nerve since I have a full, active day planned tomorrow. Less than 1550 cases were produced and only made available here in Maryland. The glass came from a wine tasting at Boordy last year or the year before.
The cigar is a Drew Estates Acid 1400CC cigar. This is probably my favorite cigar to smoke. It comes in a nice glass vial stuffed with tobacco to keep it safe (and fresh). The cutters are red and blue by Xikar. The lighter is a Colibri Talon, the glass in the lighter is red. It was a gift many moons ago from someone special.
I took the picture on the floor of the cellar, nothing special. I got as low as I could go, shot f1.8 through the 35mm lens. The SB-600 was behind me to the left pointed 45 degrees; yawn! The fire engine red walls really overpowered the photo; enter Silver Efex Pro. I turned it into a Black and White. It was first slightly edited in Capture NX2 and then moved into Photoshop where I corrected a few things and applied the Black and White Treatment.
I was listening to "The 6ixth Session" by Dieselboy.
