Down amongst the small boats and mud of the Fleet at Langton Herring. With the Fleet orientated SE - NW this is the best time of year for some dusk light on the lagoon, but alas not enough cloud (and therefore colour) in the sky on this occasion. I picked a single boat in isolation - to echo the overall solitude of the location - and slapped it central to the frame; the so-called 'rule of thirds' is often overrated; it doesn't necessarily work for every situation. About 15 seconds exposure at f16, ISO 100. And a little of the Orton technique added in PS to enrich the feel.
