Upper Butte Creek falls

This is from last month. This waterfall is just down the road from Abiqua falls. Low water flow ( right now, at least ) and the symmetry of the landscape make this pretty easy to photograph. The waterfall is only about 25 feet high and it flows over a huge rock shelf that you can walk under. The space behind the falls goes quite a ways back, maybe 30 feet. Definitely worth a visit, and even on a sunny day the light isn't too harsh till maybe late morning, then the sun breaks over the falls and lights up the mist.
