One Remaining

This currently is the last time A66 operated, excluding its return run on the 21st September back to Melbourne then onto South Dynon for storage.

A66 powers past Middle Footscray with 8173 Bacchus Marsh V/line commuter service.

A66 is the last remaining A class left in service, with its predecessors the B class still having 6 remaining. Hard the believe the 'newer model' is nearly gone...

Of note too, 8173 is operating on the new V/line RRL line that operates right from Southern Cross through to Ardeer, linking off from Deer Park to Geelong through Tarneit and Wyndham Vale. This new line allows for more Metro and V/line trains to operate with far less congestion.
