St. James Way in Autumn colours (1/6)
We had to return to Santiago. This year was even more urgent to visit the Apostle patron saint of pilgrims, after the precious help he gave us in the cliffs, in the bad weather, in the fatigue, and finally at all neither the knowledge nor the GPS could do much for us, in the heights of the Pyrenees.
It is the sixth time I go to Santiago, however it's the first time I pilgrimage in the Autumn. I intended to photograph the "inner journey", but as soon as I arrived to Valença I changed my mind, I got hardly overcome by the autumn colors.
As always, there is a complete report on my website... in Portuguese.
The theme of this first of six series: Galicia
All photos in this collection are reports of the trip stages, and in addition to the main photo, I published in the place of the first comment, a set of photos and in some cases addicional inofrmation that illustrate this story.
With the new flickr layout, which went into production in May 2013, to see that first comment you may need to click "show 20 more comments" several times. I apologize for this inconvenience, whose origin I am totally oblivious.
