Machu Picchu - Peru

    Newer Older

After two months of closing because of bad weather and heavy floodings Machu Picchu has open his doors once again and you be able walking around the old Inca city...a monument of old ancient times.
No need for extra introduction i think, since 2007 on the list of new7wonders of the world....the famous ruins of Machu Picchu. Spending here a whole day, and although it's very touristic, for sure a place to visit.
    Enjoy...

Would love to visit this place! I like your comp, showing the intricate terracing of the hill, and wonderful detail in the stone walls, and on the mountain itself. Great color and exposure :~)

more impressive than the ruins is the place where they built the city. I remember how exciting was to climb to that peak in the back. Superb postcard, great to see those saturated greens and nice detail of the person seen at right enjoying the whole view as we also are.

En van de weinige mooie foto's die ik van Machu Picchu gezien heb. Het lijkt er altijd zwaar bewolkt en extreem toeristisch te zijn.

The greens are so nice here. And the ruins standout so nice, highlighted by the pleasing subtle light.
