man hendrik, these really are hot.
do you time it or is it random?

    2. hendriko 118 months ago | reply

I actually used the remote control and the 'bulb' setting to time it manually and sync the exposure to Nick's spinning. Which worked really well.

Gorgeous balance and colour. The person looks Jedi-ish with the long, loose trousers...

Thanks for all the praise guys. I (and I am sure Nick too) appreciate it.

      Great shot!
How long are the exposure times for these poi LED shots? I wonder how you managed that Nick still appears relatively sharp. Didn't he move?

    12. hendriko 109 months ago | reply

This one was 4 seconds. The other ones are in the multi-second range as well. Click on 'more properties' under 'Additional information' to find out.

His arms are moving, but the rest of his body isn't. Thats because he is good. Really really good.
On some of the other shots, for example this one

he was posing motionless for a few seconds at the beginning of the exposure and then started to whirl around.
