Jazz's kittens at the rescue centre are growing so quickly. They're full of fun and mischief now! Jazz was calling out to me as I passed yesterday, so I opened the door to their unit to say hello to her. Within half a second Jazz and two of the kittens shot past my legs and from then on it was like a French farce! As quickly as I scooped up kittens and got them back in, two more would shoot out. Jazz, bless her, desperately needs a break from the kids from time to time. She's a wonderful mother, but she's beginning to think it's time they left home.
Eventually I enlisted the help of another volunteer and between us we got them all back in. Just then the cattery manager came by and said "Why don't you let them all out for a run around to use up some energy?" ... so we did! They all had a wonderful time saying hello to the other cats and pulling toys out of the units under the doors. It did work, by the way. They WERE tired out and sleeping soundly by the time I left! :)))
