Meagan is the prettiest, smartest and final kid in the series of three : ). She is the daughter of two of my most favorite people, Mark and Tracy Peterkins. We have been family friends for at least 20 or more years.
I met Mark when Larry Brune drug him out to church where I was pastor. in a short time Mark became a Christian and then a few weeks later his future wife Tracy became a believer at a home bible study.
They hung around our house with many of their friends and I was privileged to preside at their wedding. Subsequently, they went off to Bible college in Minneapolis, returned to Canada and had these three children. You'll find Stephen and Ben if you scroll back.
I actually drew the boys portraits as a coming of age present - a kind of Christian Bar Mitzveh celebration when they turned thirteen.
I drew Meagan simply because she is cute and a rather old world, classical portrait image. By the way, let me add, in my view, Meagan happens to be the most "Dooneresk" of all three.
I'm not happy with how this photographed. The whites seem to jump out too much but this is not the case in the actual drawing. Essentially, I'm happy with the outcome and hope they like it as much as I do. This does leave me worried, what will I do when she turns thirteen? Maybe I'll take her out for dinner?
