Featuring new works by all the live painters from SOUNDSET and more!
Ironlak Paint, The Seventh Letter, and Rhymesayers and CO Exhibitions proudly announce an exhibit of paintings, prints, photographs, and other new original artwork from some of the nation's top graffiti artists. This show began as a follow-up to 2014's wildly popular Understand What I'm Sprayin' show at CO. Like its predecessor, Seasons in the Abyss focuses on the work of Twin Cities graffiti crew Heavy Metal with the expanded scope of including the featured artists from Soundset's Live Painting wall.
Since moving to the larger festival grounds of Canterbury Park in 2009, Soundset has allowed hip hop fans to watch some of the best graffiti artists painting live. One of the opening events for Soundset weekend, Seasons In The Abyss is a unique opportunity to view and purchase one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork from these artists before seeing them paint live at Soundset on Sunday.
